Mark worked as a Senior Structural Technician for a major multi-national consultancy for almost 30 years before leaving in March 2017 to embark on a new journey as a Director of Jasper Kerr Consulting with childhood friend and business partner Steve Jasper.
During his career prior to Jasper Kerr, Mark worked on many projects, large and small, starting on the `drawing board’ in 1988 and moving onto `Autocad’ and now `Revit’. Mark is particularly proud of his work in the Higher Education sectors, helping deliver projects including the City Campus East buildings, Sports Central and the CIS building for Northumbria University.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys watching football and, as a local lad, is a big fan of Newcastle United. He also enjoys travelling and visiting new places, which he has been able to do when supporting his son who competes internationally at karate. Mark also likes walking his dog Woody and spending time with his family and friends.
